In inquiry we investigated how people have different likes and dislikes 

We researched about tastebuds.

We researched some of the different Pizza Companies. We made a company of our own.

Our jingle is on the blog after this 

We planned and made three test pizzas we scored them for look and taste 

We decided on our ultimate pizza

Spring fling

T4 what I did in the holiday

Hartlys

In the holiday Cam, Mum, Dad and I went to Port Douglas 65 KM

 from Cairns. We went to heartlys it is an animal place it hade all 

sorts of animals from birds to 6 meter salt water crocodiles.

The first thing we did was hold a baby crocodile it had tape on it's 

mouth so it couldn't bite my brother and I. We went to the 

crocodile show were a 4.5 meter crocodile called Haggrad he 

jumped up to get walabe and for exercise. When that was finished 

dad took us to see snakes, and spiders 

 there were death atters, carpet pythons, 

reticulated pythons but I couldn't see the spider. 

Off to the snake show he had the most venomous snake in the 

world the Indian typan he said “turns 

out people who no grew up on farms know as much about snakes 

than city people know about pidgins” I thought that was funny. 

Then we saw the casawory we didn't stay long the female kills the 

male that is why it was fenced off. Off to the crocodile attack show 

were Haggrad did the death roll it is how the ripe there food up. 

We all enjoy it and cam was in his element.

Reading T3

In reading been using the Notability app to learn about our topic;planets.

First we photographed the text. Then we read it with our reading buddy. When we had finished reading, we highlighted words we didn't no or weren't sure about. 

In class we talked about our highlighted ideas and worked out there meanings.

Sometimes we did a word study or some research into one of the questions we came up with.

Here are some examples.

In inquiry Alex and I studied the planet Uranus. We presented our project to the class. We did a diorama and an iMovie.

An interesting fact that we found out was Uranus has 27 moons.

Something we did well was cooperate.

Something we want to do a different way next time is speak more clearly on the iMovie.

WALA where sea creatures and plants live and how they have adapted to their environment 

This is what I knew at the start.

Something I need to work on is to learn more about the ocean.

Math term 2

WALT Use a range of strategies multiplication and division problems.

Next step use my knowledge of place value to solve problems that require me a two digit number by a one digit number independently.

Police dogs

I did some extra learning at home on police dogs.

Road safety

WALT Understand how road rules all safe.

We have been looking at all of the people who use the road and why it is important to have rules to keep us all safe.

Next time we are looking at how and why rules are created.
