This term for writing we did descriptive writing here is a piece of writing.

P-plants grow big

L-land is dirt and they need it to grow 

A-amazing plants are

N-never stop growing unless you treat them bad

T-tall trees and plants 

G-growing is lots of fun 

A-and all the plants are healthy 

R-rain makes them grow 

D-do make it look pretty 

E-either flowers or food 

N-nothing can make them look boring 

Reading t3

This term for our read aloud we read island of the blue dolphin here is one of my reading task.

Habitat Heroes #habitatheroesnz

This year we have been learning about our local wetland areas. We visited the Waitangi Wetlands and planted trees and plants. We also spread mulch on the plants to protect them. When we were there, we noticed that there were very few animal species around the place.

If we were to win the D.O.C Habitat Heroes competition, we would;

Get rid of the introduced species who eat our native species.

Buy traps to catch the rats and stoats.

We would aim to place the traps on trees and create nesting places for birds.

We could also get a bunch of people each year together to clean up an area in our wetlands, starting from the day we start.
