Term 2 persuasive writing

We have been learning to write persuasive texts.
To do this, we had to use our words to convince someone to believe something.
Here is an example of my writing. I tried to persuade the Hawkes bay community to stop dumping rubbish.

Hawkes Bay we need to stop dumping rubbish because it damages our environment and it kills our native animals and plants. Most of our native animals are endangered like kiwi and tuataras and the rubbish will kill them and make them extinct.

If you dump rubbish you will go to court and get find over $300 if you don't want that to happen to you, then stop. You could go to prison if you do it multiple times. It is illegal to dump rubbish.

It is so unfair when I heard on Monday I was shocked imagine if you went to sit by a river and you found rubbish dumped there well you don't have to there were approximately 300 nappies were dump at the Ngaruroro River. It is very sad.

IN CONCLUSION WE SHOULD NOT DUMP RUBBISH
!!
